Babu Padayatra To Cost Rs 100 Cr!

The marathon padayatra of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu which began on October 2, is said to be costing a bomb for the party leaders.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
According to reliable sources, the total expenditure being incurred for padayatra during his 117-day yatra was estimated to be Rs 100 crore, whether it is for mobilising crowds, cost of food and other expenses, vehicles and medical care. And the entire expenditure is being shared equally by five top Kamma leaders, including MPs CM Ramesh, Sujana Chowdary and Nama Nageshwara Rao.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
And according to field reports, the response from the general crowds is not too enthusiastic, though both Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy dailies and channels are giving him a lot of hype. But yes, there is a general curiosity among the people since it would give them an opportunity to compare him with late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. It remains to be seen how far the yatra would fetch electoral benefits to Naidu.[/size][/font][/color]
