So I think he justified his novel by mentioning all those parameters, which are the real double standards of Indian culture... more likely, "in those days.. "

I read the novel in one stretch. Chalam must have done deep research on women psychology. I particularly liked the way he portrayed how a woman say something but her thoughts completely either opposite or out of topic. Manam oka stage varaku matrame alochinchagalam, aa tarvatha lite teeskuntam....
