I have raised two very healthy pigs over the spring, summer, and fall, and they are ready for processing. They’ve lived on a half-acre pasture with a wooded area, and have had access to good feed and table scraps to supplement their pasture food. No antibiotics, no growth hormones. Lots of room to wander in a very low stress environment.

They will be handled by a USDA-inspected meat processor, and ready for pickup or delivery on November 1[sup]st[/sup]. All packages will be vacuum-sealed and frozen to maintain freshness, and will last 1-2 yrs in your freezer. This will make some of the best pork products you have ever had, and it helps support a local small farm.

Rather than sell small packages to many people, I prefer to sell half shares with one price per pound. I have three half-shares to sell, with each share equal to half of one pig. All cuts will be divided up as equally as possible between the halves. I am estimating between 60-70 lbs per half. A typical half share might include 23 pork chops, 2 roasts, 1 ham, 8 ham steaks, 8 lbs of bacon, 3 lbs of ribs, 9 lbs of ground pork (or sausage)…. about 4 or 5 full grocery bags.

Cost per lb is $5, so estimating cost of a half share at $300-$350.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you don’t like the product you can bring it back and I will refund your money.
