when it comes to making a movie...everybody wants to make profit and good movie.
so to be on safe side they go with the regular basic stuff..
like rajmouli who after being succesful with all the machomovies then experimented maryadaramanna and eega.
if he attempted eega at his very first step then we wouldnt have a rajamouli today.

after attempting for the commercial and getting the success some directors although they have creativity still would stick the basic routine stuff to make better profits again...and be safe and as time travels they remain the same..and would experiment at all because of budget they put in and the hero..example VV.vinayak.

bombay by Mani ratnam was a social cause flick..which is a hit but also controversial..
but after facing failure mani ratnam is also moving to the commercial side of a movie like regulars and having big cast....i hope he gets out of it.
the movies you are asking for would be squeezed out of RGV and Maniratnam I believe.
and may be the Vedam director guy,Rajmouli and surrenderReddy(i wouldnt actually count him..but because of kick movie ..had to mention him)
