Idea Needed In Business Objects

Bhayyaaa ... memu monthly oka activity chestaam .. 2,3 sources nunchi data teesukuvachi manual ga Excel lo enter chesi management ki present chestaam .. Idi every month manual stuff ...

Nenu SAP Admin .. chaala business objects systems manage chestaanu .. so i was thinking ki ee manual stuff padulu edaina report design chesi data feed cheste bagauntundi ani .. or atleast excel lo data enter chesi edaina database lo update chesi ... run report from business objects ..

Kaani ela approach avvalo telidam ledu .. ANy helppp

1) upload Excel Data in to any Database
2)Create a report on that Database ...

for Part 2: naaku universe deign cheyadam adi raadu .. nenu pure Admin .. Edaina xcelcius ilanti tools aite easy aite chappandi ..

for 1st step......u need etl tool...informatica, ssis, or BO Data Integrator...
for 2.. use bo, crystal reports or exelcius..i think u need universe for exelcius

i am not sure if u need a universe to create a report in bo...if not just write manual query..

hi mama....if u know sap bw/bi then using cube concept u can load data from excel and then u can give the cube as source to business objects .....

Note :u dont need to design universe in here......

You can create a database and upload excel data in it...After then you can use crystal reports to create a report which can be refreshed and scheduled..You don't have to build a universe for crystal..U can pull data directly from database..

Other than that you can create free hand SQL report in webi
