Clean Drinking Water For Matlam Village In Krishna District

Dr. JP has suggested us the PFL people to take initiate and come up with projects which benefits people. This is one of the project we people for loksatta took up apart from other projects like "save farmer", save pochampalli weaver etc.

See the result we spent 4lakhs to build this plant and it supports 6000 villagers. This is an example of effective use of money....

In Matlam village right now. An RO Plant has been installed for clean drinking water to the village. This is an example of how much can be done with how little. A contribution of Rs.4,00,000 in transforming lives of 6000 people in Matlam. The village's share of govt. expenditure is 11 crore. Imagine how much can be done if that money is well spent! Congrats to overseas supporters of Loksatta, Krishna District & Matlam Loksatta.

If traditional politics parties are really thinking of people welfare they can take many of these projects example : Jagan built YSR statues - Do you think it helps anyone instead of spending 4 lakhs on status if he could have took up some project that benefited the villages and regions don't you think that was a good way of spending..... Unfortunately by establishing the status of those corrupt leaders we are setting examples of bad standards... When a child grows up and see a corrupt leader statue is established then he thinks "the more we are corrupt it is good for us so we can become more popular"....


We want our kids to see the statues of Bagath Singh Raj Guru not these corrupt leaders how we will teach patriotism to our kids?

I am from Hyderabad not sure where that Village is as I have never been to any other districts outside HYD.

Not just statues

Like naming of towns/dist/and public properties like ports/projects

There should some standards..1) eliminate the politicians
2)Give preferences to Bharat ratna(s) and legendary ppl with clean back ground ..and to pick a separate non political body should decide with certain parametera
