Dollar rate depends on US economy .This qtr results of most top companies are very disappointing and they have given a weak guidance/projection for the next qtr
Even there is crisis in Europe and china is also not doing well


So American Companies and Investors are cautious to invest in India,so no inflow of dollars to India and short supply.So demand increases,thus dollar exchange rate compared to rupees too !
If the situation worsens in the US/global economy then rupee weakens and vice versa

I think the situation will remain same or worst as it is election season in US and every one waiting for the results for making investment decisions ,based on who who will become US president

So USD rate may go to Rs 54 to Rs55 in coming 4 weeks
