Help Plzzz, Bank Of America Credit Card Fraud

SOME ONE HAS USED 2000 DOLLARS FROM MY ACCOUNT WITH OUT MY KNOWLEDGE , I HAVE NEVER GIVEN CARD TO ANY ONE
BUT USED IT IN UNIVERSITY PARKING LOT TO PAY THE MONTHLY PARKING MONEY .
Not sure how this has happened , called up the BANK , they have cancelled the account and said they are going to do some check

What should i do now in order to save my money in regards to dealing with bank
what precautions should i take in future to prevent these things

he has done two transactions in two days and amount was less than thousand two times
i have a limit of up to 1500 per transaction hmmmmmmmmmm
how can any one use the card with out physical card , and how will they get addresss ?????????
