We are having consultations with our partners including Israel about this. We are helping the opposition. We don't want to get entangled with anyone without having their credibility considered. [/color] [color=#333333]Romney - 30,000 being killed by their GOVT is a humanitarian disaster. Syria is Iran's only ally which threatens our allies. It's a high priority to remove the current regime. We don't want military involvement there. We should identify responsible parties, bring them together, as a form of counsel to take lead , have arms, to defend themselves. We need to coordinate efforts with allies. Every ally is concerned about this. I believe Assad must go, and he will go. In the years to come, we see syria is a friend, in the future, and it's a critical opportunity for us. We should be playing the leadership role, not on the ground. When we went into libya, we were immediately able to stop their forces and made sure that Gaddafi didn't stay there. Imagine if we pulled out at that point. We should replace Assad and have a friendly Govt. They should get arms to defend themselves. We have partners in the region, to support those groups. They wanna make sure they have roof over their heads and better prospects in future. We should give them a sense of how they can build their economy. We are coordinating with our Joint Chiefs of staffs to make sure we are safe. We should think about Cyber security, space. It's not driven by politics. Their oil production has dropped. A nuclear Iran is a national security threat. We can't afford to have a nuclear arms race in the most volatile region in the world. Pak has 100 nukes and they will have more dangerous things coming if pak becomes a failed state. We should make pak a more stable govt and develop a better relationship. I wanna make sure we have the best education system in the world. We will develop Oil, natural gas sources and others.
