Bhaiya , the easy way which i learnt is by seeing the English comedy serials . Evvi chusthey comedy ardham kavadaniki manam concentrate baga chestham so dialogue kuda baga ardham avuthundi and accent kuda... try cheye..

Americans use lots of idiomatic english meaning they dont use pure grammer/vocabulary based phrases. The best way to understand their accent is to talk to americans regularly. In the beginning there will be some embarassing moments, but thats just OK. And watch sitcoms like seinfeld, friends...news channels wont help you because they dont use colloquial english. So watch lots of sitcoms and stand up comedies. and Dont forget to turn on subtitles. If you dont understand some phrases, just google them or use urbandictionary.com ....popular american culture and history ni batti idioms generate chesthaaru...It takes some time...but you will get there.
