Dasari Lobbied For Lakshmi's Award?

We all know how Mohan Babu got shocked when Lakshmi Manchu was adjudged as 'Best Villian' for 2011 Nandi Award a week back. Like all the time, there is a lobbying talk getting heard, and with Lakshmi Manchu's words they are getting more prominence.

Industry talk is that Nandi Awards committee got frightened by Mohan Babu's comments about existence of lobbying for this government sponsored awards, and hence they gave award to Lakshmi Manchu. But if you read between what Lakshmi has told today, you will get another doubt.

'A week before the award was announced, I went to Dasari Narayana Rao uncle's house. After having a glance at his cupboard that shows all his Golden Nandis, I asked him, uncle when am I going to get one', said Lakshmi Manchu, adding 'and that's it, after one week I got the award'.

She said these things in a TV channel interview today.

Dasari has drawn huge criticism earlier that he lobbied for Nandi after Ramcharan was pushed out to judge Dasari as Best Actor for 'Mestri'. And, when you listen to Lakshmi Manchu today, maybe he might have secretly worked for her to give a lifetime surprise, says a cine observer.
