A Motivational Story By My Grand Father

On the shore of a great ocean two birds were living tending their eggs. The playful lord of the ocean took them away to his house while the birds were watching. The Birds stood aghast. The male bird reviewed the situation along with his female bird. They came to a conclusion that the best way is to empty the ocean and confront the lord of the seas.
As days went on, their relatives came and pleaded that their job cannot succeed. This story moves forward. On a particular day the God of all Gods, Lord Vishnu was informed by the Divine Messenger, Narada about this incident. Bird Hayagreeva who carries Vishnu on his back for all his journeys brought him to the spot along with Narada.
They were all surprised to see the birds in question were blood relatives of Hayagreeva. Lord Vishnu heard the case patiently and asked the birds to give up their efforts as it is beyond their capacity to empty the ocean. The birds in turn humbly protested that they loved the Lord of the Oceans, respected him and had no enemity with him. They prayed that their eggs be returned.
Lord Vishnu summoned Lord Samudhra and admonished him for carrying away the eggs of the birds. The story ends by the Lord of the Oceans requesting Pardon from Lord Vishnu .He returns the eggs to the birds and assures them future safety. All the Parties concerned feel happy.
