[color=#000000][font=Arial][size=4]The car in which the 57-year-old actor, director was travelling hit a trawler near Shahkot in Nakodar area of the district around 1 am, Mr Bhatti's associate Vinod Sharma told PTI. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Arial][size=4]Mr Sharma said that Jaspal Bhatti was going to Jalandhar from Bhatinda for the promotion of his Punjabi film [/size][/font][/color][i]Power Cut[/i][color=#000000][font=Arial][size=4] scheduled to be released tomorrow. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Arial][size=4]Mr Bhatti's son Jasraj, who was driving the car and film's heroine Suril Gautam were injured and rushed to a hospital at Jalandhar. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Arial][size=4]Mr Sharma said that Mr Bhatti had been traveling during past few days for the promotion of his new film. [/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Arial][size=4]The cremation is expected to take place later this evening after his body is brought to Chandigarh after completion of various legal formalities, including post-mortem, he said. [/size][/font][/color]
