Firstly, a person should have clearcut golas as other were saying above and is 100% true....like I will be in US only for these many years...or I will pay off all my debts/loans and I will own a flat or house, etc. after that don't add anything new to your list ....just go back to India. Or else you will never be able to go back to India.

Secondly, appulu lekunda choosko by the time you decide to go back to India. voka flat.illu koni pettuko. Find and have an alternative source of revenue so that you can live in India without much depending on Jobs.

Thirdly, it will definitely be tough in India for the first 6 months or 12 months. Traffic, pollution n contaminated things may trouble you or your kids (if you have)...but that's only for some time...Competition, work environment, obligations, issues from/with relatives, neighbors, etc kastha vuntaaay. But, you willl get adjusted to these things within no time...as that's where you are originally from.

Coming to me: I willl go back to India in around 5 years...have a goal of finding and setting up an alternative source of revenue. But, I will go back for SURE
