There can be many different scenarios each individual have here and every one could have their own priorities. One MUST think in the best interest of their Priorities while deciding on such matters.

Example: From what you said, your priority is your parents (same case as mine), then go for it with Pride and without any second thought, after deciding what makes them happier in long run.

In other cases, some individuals may have siblings to take of their parents and/ something etc..., and their parents don't feel the lonelyness as much, those people may have different priorities (but should always after making sure their Parents are happy) and so on...it all depends...
