Payroll For H1B

Guys, need ur suggestions, My opt is till Mar 10th 2013, and my H1b started on Oct 1st 2012,i did askl my employer to run my payroll under OPT status, so that i can save some money on tax and he said he can run as OPT status. my question is do we get any issues on this during the time of H1B stamping and also he is paying me per diem not on the pay check but will deposit some amount whenever needed....please let me know ...

once there is a change of status to H1B ur opt is gone ........you or your employer cannot decid ethat ur in opt now...nee i-797 mihd start date emundhi..oct 1st aithe u'll be in h1b and nee payroll kuda adhe refelect avvali including ssn,medicare taxes....if not u'll definetly have problem...perdiem i have no idea...

perdiem antava , perdiem pay check lo vundali and then vati ki proofs like(bills, card statements) anni save chesu kooo. pay check medha chupinchaka potheee u 'll get a problem when u r going to stamping

You cannot run taxes in OPT status once you have H1b...!!

yeah pettavachu kani (opt end date minus 6 months) kanna lopu h1 file cheyalevu

bhayya, maa employer gaadu every month ivvadu, 3months ko 6 months ki oka saari , 5k ala pay chesthadu, so dani valla emmana issues vasthaya....idi paystub lo include kaadu..

through personal check or through company check? personal check ithe fine but company check ithe problem avuthundhi malli

ippude general ga if you want oct-01-2013 ki start date kavali ante april-01-2013 [b]tharavata[/b] H1-B apply cheyali
or dec-01-2013 ki start date kavali ante june-01-2013[b] tharavata[/b] apply cheyali (if h1 quota is available)
alage.... jan-01-2014 li kvali ante july-01-2013 [b]tharavata[/b] apply cheyali (if h1 quota is available)

dec-01-2013 start date ki april-01-2013 apply cheyalevu [b]MAX[/b] gap should be 6 months
