IRS tho games vaadu vayy..just talk to them and arrange for monthly payments... also tell them that you went thru tax consultant... it is not completely ur fault may be kocham tagistharu emo.......

yes nuvu fee return vachiddi ani chesav so yu have to pay them back now else gc or h1b app apdu issue ayiddi! call irs and make an arrangement to pay back the money slowly,dont worry its just a matter of a call talk and sort it out

and tell them that you have no idea about the filing procedure and you had no previous knowledge of how to file prior to that filing and ask them to consider it as an honest request and see if they can remove the penality! else make sure you lower the amount to pay back monthly i think a 100 a month wont bother you!
