H4 Visa Stamping Process - India Help Please

Hi frds,

I am gettng married in Dec 1st week. So I need to apply H4 visa for my wife. There is new process in India. I have already H1b visa stamped last month.

1. Can I book H4 appointment before marriage?
2. I heard we need to take two oppointments. One for finger prints and other for interview.
3. Can we pay the money online itself?

I see in DS160 ...for H4 applicant. It is asking for employer and receipt details etc. Can i give my employer details for H4 visa?

Recently my wife went for H4-stamping.

Yes you need to take two appointments.

Yes you can book appointment for H4 before marraige, but i think slots will be openend only two weeks before, so if youa re getting married in Dec, then you need to wait until Nov ending.

You can pay online, but you need to do a third party transfer, you will get all the instructions while paying.
You can create an account now itself and fill out the DS-160 forms if you want.

Yes it is your employer detials.
