Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is desperately trying to convince the people of Telangana that he is not against the separate state demand and that he would support the cause if the Centre holds an all-party meeting.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
During his “Vasthunna Mee Kosam” padayatra at Koilkonda mandal in Mahbubnagar district on Wednesday, the TDP president had to face strong protests from the Telangana activists, mostly belonging to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Bharatiya Janata Party. He tried to pacify them saying he would not make any statement hereafter that would hurt the sentiments of Telangana people.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
“I promise to you all that I will not oppose the Telangana state formation. On the other hand, if the Centre holds an all-party meeting, my party will support the Telangana state,” he said.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
And when the TDP activists were entering into a clash with the agitating Telangana activists, Naidu restrained them.[/size][/font][/color][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]
“Let them raise slogans. They would leave the place after some time. I am sure they will understand my stand,” he said.[/size][/font][/color]
