Telugu Desam has began working on finding the replacement of senior party leader Yerram Naidu who died in a road mishap last week. Party leadership will take a final decision on his successor in the politburo meet on Saturday.

Chandrababu is likely to choose one among Yerram's Son (Rammanohar Naidu) and his Brother (Accham Naidu, former MLA) to contest from Srikakulam parliamentary constituency in the next general elections. The situation is in favor of Rammanohar Naidu (27) who is studying in London, as TDP has taken the Srikakulam MP seat as a prestige issue this time and a victory here is like paying rich tributes to the senior leader who served the party for decades.

Yerram Naidu, a four time MP, was defeated by Congress candidate Killi Krupa Rani in 2009 polls. Discussions will also take place in Saturday's meeting to find a replacement of Yerram in TDP politburo.
