Developer
· Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with a minimum of 3 years of Java and JEE technologies
· Experience with development work in a large scale and complex application with multiple lower environments
· Experience with full software development lifecycle including requirements clarification (as related to technical solution to address a technical and/or business problem), design, programming, testing, debugging, and documentation
· Experience with GEICO-specific technologies including Java, Spring, JSF, Hibernate, JDBC, Oracle and JBoss
· Experience triaging and identifying the root cause and resolution of exceptions and/or production issues
· Experience with developing estimates and meeting development schedules
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Senior Developer
· Developer skills plus the following:
· Minimum of 7 years of software development experience with a minimum of 5 years of Java and JEE technologies
· Design patterns experience
· Experience performing code reviews and promoting best practices
· Understanding of performance issues and experience implementing solutions to resolve
· Experience with establishing tasks and timelines to complete development work
