[color=#000000][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3][font=Georgia,][background=transparent]Various theatres have faced the ire of Akkineni fans today with 'Damarukam' movie not hitting theatres on time as said by the producers. Say it fate or poor business skills of RR Makers, this socio fantasy flick is not finding ways to make it theatres.

Fans at various theatres like Alankaar (Vijaywada), Sandhya (Hyderabad) and at other parts of [url="http://www.gulte.com/movienews/12381/Theatres-Attacked--Nag-Says-<img%20src="] have destroyed furniture and shattered glass panes to show case their anger. But what can theatre owners do when distributors are not able to get the movie reels? However, hero Nagarjuna has responded on this issue while attending a private event in East Godavari district.

'I'm for the happenings regarding Damarukam movie. Please pray to god and do abhishekams for the release of this flick as Lord Shiva is yet to bless us. Maybe it will take a week for the flick to hit theatres', said Nagarjuna.[/url][/background][/font][/size][/font][/color]

The sudden postponement of the release of much-hyped film – Damarukam, starring top actors Akkineni Nagarjuna and Anushka, has come in as a big disappointment for his fans and evoked curious inquiries from the media covering Telugu film industry.
The rumour doing rounds in the film circles is that the release of the film was due to some financial problems, as the producers could not pay money to lab authorities in time as a result of which the prints could not be delivered to the distributors.
Well, that is one part of the story. But why could the producers not pay the amount in time? Inquiries revealed that the actual reason was the seizure of Rs 6.7 crore cash by the police while it was being transported to Jubilee Hills three days ago. The money was to be paid in black and hence, the producers were shifting the cash in an auto, but it was caught midway by the police.
Though the manager of Bala Sai Baba Ashram claimed that the money belonged to him and it was being taken for payment to the contractor for purchase of a plot, sources say the money actually belonged to the producers of Damarukam and it was meant for payment to the lab authorities and other lenders. Now that the money is with the Income Tax authorities, it will take a long time to get back the same. And since the payments could not be made in time, the release of the film got released, say sources.

sir, auto nagar surya ki kuda kalipi cheyamanu..poor fans..........double expenses..theater daggara milk poyaali..and poojalu chepimchaali...producer ni hero gaaru full ga naakesaaru:)
