Update

She was admitted into Global Hospital today and later transferred to Asian institute of Gastroenterology in the evening due to some issues at Global Hospital(finance?)

NTV (RajaSekhar, Madhavi) were on this particular cause and they did a live program yesterday at 3.30PM IST. They roped in Dr. Anand, MD liver Transplant (now in Mumbai) for this. reportedly he said that Preeti has 50-50 chance of survival and the operation fees can shoot upto 70L (I haven't watched the program yet)

It is said that the doctor fees itself for the operation will be around 10-12Lakhs

Right now the Asian institute people have just started doing the tests and preparing a comprehensive report on what might be the best options.

Preeti's Liver is damaged completely (80-90%). Her father's liver matches with Preeti's, but it is not yet established if its a feasible operation. Still Searching for Donor's liver

They are expecting a complete quotation from the hospital tomorrow detailing the exact charges and fees of the best option they have decided.

If she needs a complete liver transplantation thats the estimated cost as said by Dr. Anand.

Its really sad, hope it all goes well.

CM's relief fund can grant upto 1lakh only, if at all it is approved. It might not be a major amount considering the situation, but everything counts. Hope they grant that amount.
