Permission denied??? - Are you the admin?

When you were successful to execute the sudo rm -R command, you must be having the admin rights.

Anyways, let me tell you something. Sudo is exclusively meant only for admins. rm command is a very dangerous command. You cannot restore stuff after you execute this command.

From the command, you have tried, it looks like with your admin rights you must have deleted some important settings related to your spotlight and the mac's boot up configuration.

If you have apple care, take it to the nearest apple store.

A small advice - From next time, before you execute the command, please do an online search and make sure you are not digging deep into the necessary parameters.

mac naade baa...i'm admin.. anduke fist command which also contains sudo pani chesindi.. usually deleting/removing kind of commands execute cheyanu but just spotlight index files matrame delete chestundemo anukunna!

oops! i jsut realized it has not been more than a year since i bought my mac..one-year limited time warranty edo untadi anta kada.. is it same as apple care?
