OneWayMyWay Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Is there a function similar to GEODIST as in SAS to calculate Geographical Distance in Informatica? GEODIST function in SAS computes the geodetic distance between any two arbitrary latitude and longitude coordinates. Input values can be expresses in degrees or in radians.

ETL Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Nope u don have GEODIST function in INFA. However u can build Haversine formula in INFA to calculate the GEO distance (assuming u have Lat and Long in radians).
