O U Debars 30000 Students

[size=4][color=#474747][font=Georgia,]In a shocking development, Osmania University has detained as many as 30,000 students from writing the Annual Undergraduate examination for poor attendance across all the [/font][/color][url="http://www.gulte.com/news/12540/Shocker--OU-debars-30-000-Students#"]colleges[/url][color=#474747][font=Georgia,] which are affiliated to it.[/font][/color]

[color=#474747][font=Georgia,]Out of the 1 lakh students who got registered, only 70,000 of them are permitted to sit for the examinations that began just recently and will [/font][/color][url="http://www.gulte.com/news/12540/Shocker--OU-debars-30-000-Students#"]continue[/url][color=#474747][font=Georgia,] till November end. The authorities have taken this stern decision to send a strong message to the students that bunking classes and indiscipline willn't be tolerated. Most of the students who were barred had below 20 percent attendance.[/font][/color]

[color=#474747][font=Georgia,]The regular bandh calls due to Telangana movement also had an effect on the attendance and detained students include several student leaders of T-agitation who didn't allow other students to attend the classes. Students who weren't allowed to attend the examination are staging protests demanding the state government to intervene and grant them permission as they missed the classes due to political cause. On the other hand, the managements made it clear that most of the students who was debarred are those who have been bunking classes for personal reasons. So, all of them need to forego an academic year to clear the papers.[/font][/color][/size]
