As expected, the Telugu Desam Party on Friday lost yet another MLA N Amarnath Reddy from Palamaneru from Chittoor district, the home district of party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
Amarnath Reddy, who staged a banner of revolt against Naidu when the latter wrote a letter to Prime Minister on the Telangana statehood issue, has been hinting for quite some that he might join YSR Congress party headed by jailed Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. On Friday, he met Jagan in the Chanchalguda jail and expressed his willingness to join the party.
He told the media later that he was joining the Jagan party for two reasons: pressure from the people of his constituency and the anti-people decisions taken by Naidu in the recent past. Within minutes, the TDP suspended him.
Amarnath Reddy was a two-time MLA – from Punganur in 1999 and Palamaneru in 2009. His father N Ramakrishna Reddy was the TDP MP.
It may be mentioned that three other TDP legislators had joined the YSR Congress party inn the recent past – Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani, Tamballapalle MLA Praveen Kumar Reddy and Gopalapuram MLA Taneti Vanitha, besides former MLAs like P V Krishna Babu and Sankineni Venkateshwara Rao.[/size][/font][/color]

It resembles me the same situation when PRP was launched they tried to build up the party by wooing th eleaders from other parties..Later they cannot accommodate the tickets for all and got back stabbed..Looks like YCRCP's fate might be the same in the future.
