vizag Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Never close your credit cards unless you are not using and still paying annual fee Closing your credit cards affect your credit score by lowering your average age of open credit cards! They also help in lowering your credit card utilization rate which helps your credit score. idhi ~10% unte best You can still apply for a new credit card without closing them but you have to realize that applying for too much credit also hurts your score
gump1234 Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Normal gaa credit cards cancel chesina credit history goes down for a while...so keep using good one's and ask the same bank customer service to increase the limit....and then close the other one's which were less like 1000- 2000 limit.
