Developers madhayalo code share chesukuntam, everyone on the project checks out the code every morning and commits any changes throughout the day and for sure before end of day. Ye branch meeda work chestamo adi features meeda depend autundi and you might be aware of branching and stuff, wont get into much details. Coming to deploying binaries in dev, qa and prod phase.. we tag the branch before pushing it to prod. Deployment is different thing (unlike what you said about TFS whihc is used to deploy into dev or stg servers).. You just commit your changes and the person responsible to push the executable will take care of rest which includes signing the app and publishing it in the portal.

[/quote] For someone like me (Who has no knowledge about .NET and Java webservices deployment etc) Deployment is different from Source control. Naku native mobile apps (iOS and Android) source control and deployment meeda idea undi.. web apps, windows meeda no clue ela chestaro ani.

[/quote] mari how r u managing with code in android? adi java kada.. deployment and source control r different but I was comparing with TFS so akada confuse ayanu.. I am just starting off in this so emaina q's unte can i ask u?

Code in Android.. umm Eclipse IDE lo edo plugin untundi adi use chesi checkin cheyadam .. same IDE use chesi (With ADT installed) code compile chesi check chestam devices meeda work autunda leda ani (Simulator too). Then qa vallu green signal ivagane version control lo tag chestam release candidate laaga. Final lo Executable (APK for Android or IPA for iOS) ni push chestaru to market or portal. Yeah feel free to ask me any questions you have regarding "native" app development.
