flavours Posted November 21, 2012 Author Report Posted November 21, 2012 yea...ippudu manam ROTH IRA lo vesi.....say after 5yrs withdraw chesamu anuko......the earnings (I mean profits we made in investing) meda tax kattala?...... nenu chadivithe naku ela ardam aindhi ante.........you dont have to pay taxes on them...... ela aina we need to pay penalty for removing early before retirement........but oka thought..... also illu konali anukunte down payment ki ROTH IRA nunchi money withdraw chesthe penalty vundadu ani vinna..............(so does that mean no tax only on our initial investments but profits meda tax vuntada?) ikkade koncham confusion...........

I am asking about the $500 earning....should we pay tax on that? yea nenu forums lo chadiva koncham confusing ga vundi...... konnitlo idhe post chesaro benefit of roth IRA is you can withdraw and pay that money as down payment for house without any penalty ani.... so earning meda manam tax kattalisina avasaram leka pothe ...its also better to invest in roth IRA kada ani na question...
