B1 meeda ikkada 5 months unna (say May-Oct) you should have applied for your H1 in April and gotten the approval for that petition. then Oct lo u could start working on H1 . afaik, there is no bypass to this where u can directly apply for change of status from B1 to H1.

October start date to clients PO ivvaru adi lekunda H1 approve kaadu.. now a days only two options:- 1. Come on F1 -> OPT -.> H1 2. Work for a company in India. Come on a H1 or L1 through them.. Except for these two options migataavi chaala kashtam... Last year ilaa B1 meeda vachi work out kaaka okatanu malli back vellipoyaadani vinna.. 1
