shouldn't be a problem.... yes, USCIS ki employer letter pampinchali, but that depends on your university... konni universities employer letter kaavalani checklist lo mention cheyyaru.....

In order to apply you must meet the following criteria:[list]
[*]Student must have successfully completed a bachelor's masters or doctoral degree in one of the DHS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Designated Degree Programs.

[*]Please see the degrees by CIP code list for UMass Dartmouth degree programs that meet the appropriate criteria.

[*]Student must currently be participating in a (post completion) 12 month OPT, working for a US employer, in a job directly related to the student's field of study.

[*]Student must currently be employed or have a job offer from an employer registered with the E-Verify employment verification system.

[*]Student has not previously received a 17 month OPT extension after earning a STEM degree extension.

Application Packet Checklist:[list]
[*]Original letter address to ISSC from E-Verify employer on company letterhead, stating that they agree to fulfill the reporting requirements should the student leave the company (see Employer reporting requirements below). Letter should include the following; name of company, and address, name, title and contact information of individual at company who would be responsible for reporting to the ISSC if a student departs or is terminated from employment prior to the end of their OPT extension.

[*]Check or money order made payable to the [b]US Department of Homeland Security[/b]. Be sure to verify the amount at prior to filing. The fee is subject to change. As of April 19, 2008 it was $380.00[b]. [/b]Be sure that your name and I-94 number are written on the check.

[indent=1]Your Employer's Name as listed in E-Verify and the employer's E-Verify Company ID number or a Valid Client Company ID Number.[/indent]

[indent=1]· There is a fill-able form available under e-filing. You can use this process for CREATE the form and then print a copy. However we do not recommend using the e-filing process at this time. Currently, it actually takes more time to process[/indent]

[indent=1]· When completing the I-765 be sure to use a mailing address, which will still be valid in a few months. You may use the International Student & Scholar Center's address.[/indent]

[b]NSEERS Registrants[/b] must provide proof of registration (copies of front and back of I-94 card should indicate registration and an FIN#) and a letter from student stating date and location of the registration.


[b]AFTER the Application is filed:[/b][list]
[*]If the student files a timely application (before the end date on the original OPT EAD card) for the extension they will remain in status and may continue employment even after the end date of the original OPT EAD card while the extension application is pending until the I-765 is processed or 180 days whichever comes first. Once the student receives the receipts and EAD card for the extension, copies must be brought or sent to the ISSC at UMass Dartmouth.

[b]17 Month Extension of OPTIONAL PRACTICAL TRAINING[/b]

· "During the 17-month STEM OPT extension, the student must report to his or her DSO within 10 days of any change of the following actions The DSO must then update SEVIS within 21 days of receiving notification of the change from the student[list]

[*]residential or mailing address
[*]employer name
[*]employer address,
[*]and/or loss of employment.

[*]The student must also make a "validation report" to the DSO [u]every six months[/u] starting from the date the 17-month extension begins and ending when the student's F-1 status ends, the student changes educational levels at the same school, the student transfers to another school, or the 17-month OPT extension ends, whichever is first. The validation is a confirmation that the student's name and address, employer name and address, and/or loss of employment are current and accurate. The report is due to the DSO within 10 business days of each reporting date."

[*]A student is allowed no more than an aggregate of 120 days of unemployment during 29 months of combined standard and extended OPT.
[/list]

[b] Employer reporting requirements[/b]

· "Employers of students granted the 17-month STEM OPT extension must also agree to report within 48 hours the termination or departure of a student if the termination or departure is prior to the end of the authorized period of OPT. The employer must make this report "to the DSO at the student's school or through any other means or process identified by DHS."

· The regulation defines "departure" as follows: "when the employer knows the student has left the employment or if the student has not reported for work for a period of 5 consecutive business days without the consent of the employer, whichever comes earlier."
· The DSO must then update SEVIS with these employment end dates received from employers, within 21 days of receiving the employer's notification [8 C.F.R. [url="http://www.nafsa.org/_/file/_/amresource/8cfr2143.htm#2143g3iiF"]214.3(g)(3)(ii)(F) [/url]]."
