Thanks in advance [/quote] It is a glorified android tablet with a keyboard.Can not be used for productivity (i.e any real office work) other than browsing sites and checking emails Can be used (most apps) only when you have internet connectivity !

[/quote] android is different than chromium os...yes i agree that chromebook is efficient only if its connected online 24/7...but it also can perform most of the work offline...Also most of the productive work like producing office files can be accomplished through office 365 or google docs. so its not a bad decision to but if you are connected online 24/7

[/quote] MS office can be used but only online....microsoft provides web service called office 365.
