Drink Companion App: A Big Relief For Boozers!

The frequent special drives conducted by the cops to keep a check on the alarming rise in the rate of drunken driving in the city have turned out to be nightmares for the boozers, as they had no clue whether they consumed alcohol more than the permissible limit or not until now.

However, the party-goers needn't worry much from now with the creation of a new App. 'Drink Companion' software which could calculate the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is like a blessing in disguise for the boozers. This application will help the drinkers in finding out the facts like the amount of alcohol consumed and whether you have crossed the permissible Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) limit.

Even the cops were encouraging the boozers to use this software to keep them in control while consuming alcohol. "Whenever you have a party, use this software an find out the Blood Alcohol Content in your body," says CV Anand, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic).

As per the rules, a person is not allowed to drive a vehicle if he is detected with more than 30 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. Apart from fine, the cops have been booking cases against the drunk drivers these days and even celebrities and politicians weren't spared.
