If you( the person) is working on H1b before the school is closed, no prob at all ( its a full change of status from student (F1) to work visa (H1b)), you are no way related to the school now regarding your visa status, but it matters if you would like to apply for GC, and USCIS will no more consider you having a Masters degree that is not accredited

but if you are currently on opt, and your school is closed, you are totally out of status and should leave a country with in period of grace time, not sure about the time )

to avoid this , still few doors are open

-> if your spouse is on H1, you can go apply for H4 as dependent

-> if you are able to grab an admission in any other school that is accredited, then u can stay here and good to go with your new (Sevis) I-20
