Help: Docs For Visa Stamping Interview

I was reading DS160 Confirmation page and i see that they are asking to provide proof that you have paid the visa application fee associated with your applicaiton.
I paid my visa application fee online, so not sure what this proof they are asking for?
Only after we pay fee application will be active for scheduling interview right?
Any clue what that proof they are asking for?

I got an email saying Appointment confirmation and it has a section called "MRV FEE PAYMENTS' with 2 barcodes on it
1), DS-160 Confirmation number
2) UID (I dont know what this means).

I'm not sure if I have to take a print of this mail as a proof for payment.
