She is a part of 36 super hits in telugu and 20 super hits in tamil from 1952 to 1970 which are testimony to her versatile acting skills.
She married Sivaji Ganeshan in 1953 while doing “Manam Pola Mangalyam” with him.

She was called in Tamil as “nadigara thilagam”
By the end of 1970’s her career fell down and she still wants to be in movies which drove her to direct movies which are popular remakes of Hindi
