Wrong Information.... You don't need a Step down Transformer.... TV's should be rated 100V to 230V.. so as Laptops...

india lo ee ikkada Tvs work chaiyali antae suld need an converter baa...dats for sure...!!

laptops...apadter lo undaedhae adhi...voltage changes ki stop sesaedhiii...!!

and more over Laptops are made to work inbetween 100 v- 240 v ,so dat may not cause a prob if we use the same laptop in india as well as in US..but TV's arnt made like that..!

that have their limited volts n frequency...beyond that they r not ment to work..it breaks down obviously..!!

Laptop adapter 100-240V AC ni 19.5V DC ga convert chesthundi(it doesn't do a AC to AC step down) ... adapter meeda raasi untundi choodu... Input 110V to 240V... Output 19.5V DC ani....... Chinna electronics only DC theesukuntundi... unless it has a Single/Threes Phase Motor...

TV should be able to take 110 to 240 V AC and Convert to 25V DC(Depends on TV... less is better)

Voltage and Frequency should never change from TV to TV....

No matter what TV it is.... it should take 110V/230V... 50Hz/60Hz period...
Frequency is only for running VFD (Variable Frequency Drives).... More frequency, faster the drive/fan..... This fan is used for the heat sink to cool the TV...

Finally, eee thread vesina abbayiki... your TV will work in India.... but please help me to check before plugging in... if there is a switch at the back of the TV to switch from 110V/230V.... typically TV's don't though.... if at all there is one push towards 230V....

Probably you know that the plug shape is different in US and India so you need a adapter... Rendu Rupayaluntadi Hardware shop lo)
