Anushka And Deepika's Crazy Rivalry

Someone was right. No two actresses can be friends in tinseltown. For that matter, they can't even leave each other alone. The newest duo to join the 'rivalry' circuit is Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone.
The latest we hear from [url="http://www.mumbaimirror.com/article/30/201212052012120503433653777bd4bdf/Catch-me-if-you-can.html"]Mumbai Mirror[/url] is that apparently these two feel the heat when it comes to the other. Whether its endorsements, events or film deals, the two are keeping each other on their toes and are just looking for opportunities to one-up the other. In fact, they even keep tabs on each other's diaries.
The girls never back down from taking pot shots at each other. In a recent interview, Anushka replied to a question regarding anorexia by saying, "Have I ever landed up in hospitals saying I am exhausted? I am a very fit girl." Insiders believe this to be a comment on Deepika's injury on the sets of Ram Leela.
Furthermore, in June this year Anuskha had slashed her endorsement fee from Rs 4 crore to Rs 3 crore to grab a two-wheeler deal, which was first offered to Deepika. In September, Deepika one-upped Anushka by signing a deal with a rival brand. Deepika has lost out to a hair-care product to Anushka. In fact, filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar said, "I have worked with Deepika who has dominated the modeling industry. But with Anushka’s explosive entry, she is definitely giving Deepika a bit of a run for her money.”
Rumour mills even state that Anushka is even more miffed now that her one-time boyfriend and close co-star Ranveer Singh is now dating Deepika Padukone, even though this is purely conjecture.
Moreover, now we hear both girls are vying for the lead role in Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick opposite Salman Khan. While Deepika has missed several projects opposite ** in the past, the reason that both are almost desperate to get the role is because it going to be an important film, and neither will let the other succeed. Anushka especially could get even with Deepika after she lost out on Ye Jawani Hai deewani by an inch after almost being finalised, due to Dips rekindling her friendship with Ranbir.
Deepika is absolutely neck deep in work already. She's working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela with Anushka's ex-beau Ranveer Singh, and Ayan Mukerji's Ye jawani Hai Deewani with ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor. Besides, she has just taken a month off to promote Race 2. But a source close to her says that apparently she's great at juggling dates and will manage this as well.
As for Anushka, Kick will be a great kick to her career as she's getting typecast doing the vivacious, bubbly girl-next-door roles repeatedly.
Sources say that Deepika is great at scooping up roles to keep in the limelight. But Anushka's not too far behind.
