There are only two options till 2009
1. Congress
2. TDP

Earlier all educated used to think that TDP was a saviour for AP which was till then controlled by HighCommand in Delhi. TDP did really succeed in eradicating corruption between 1994-2004 in AP. But it has got its own limitations like too much power-centric and benefits to only a 'few' who are close to that party.
In a way its good because corruption was limited to only a 'few'.
But then it was not liked by a large sections of people as there is a growing perception of political conscience.
This benefited Congress in 2004 and then on wards corruption is almost legalized with corruption spread across large sections of people.
So in short, TDP means corruption limited to a 'few' and congress means corruption becoming a legal option for large number of people.
Now since India is a democratic state, all resources should be accessible to all people including corruption.
In that way corruption became legalized in AP.
If Jagan is worshiped its because of this growing number of people who are benefited by legalizing corruption.
A lot of educated people have difficulty in choosing TDP or Congress or YSR Congress as
1. They are dead against to TDP which always favours a 'few'
2. They like TDP because they are one among the 'few.
3. They like Congress or YSRC because it directly benefited them'
4. They hate congress (or YSRC) because they cant access resources.
