allarjun_fan Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 3rd party background check is only checking criminal and other lawful violations by you. they wont check your linkedin profile. linkedin profiles are not legally binding. no one will ever get a job denied becouse of linkedin. they will verify what ever you wrote in the application. that is all. be careful with your previous addresses. they will call your references but even if they dont pick up the phone they wont bother them. they will rigorously check yur criminal history. and any lawful violations. they will check your credit report for only financial clients. if you want you can order a free report of your background check. they are bound by law to provide you a free report.
