Lots of preparation has helped him too along with God blessings. Now my VI At 12.20 pm, my actual visa time was 11.30 am. me : good afternoon officer vo : good afternoon.Documents plz me : gave the docs (passport stapled with DS-160,Sevis & all other docs - memos, scorecards,loan etc) vo : where did you under gradute from? me : Kakatiya Inst. of Tech & Science vo : Univ of Louisianaaa? me : yes sir vo : why this Univ? me : I have more than 2 yrs of exp as a s/w engineer & fortunately for me the course- curriculum offered by CS dept is inline with my expertise subjects like Java, DB systems, AI & Cognitive Science and moreover I'm interested in the Virtual Reality Laboratory where in 3D models r developed in a virtual environment & research upon neural n/w's by Proff Anthony S Maida. Taking all these factors into consideration, I have chosen this univ 2 excel at my Technical skills. VO : Btech % ? me : 80% & I'm the 2nd topper in my class sir. VO : good VO : What r u dng from 2010 ? me : I'm working in Mahindra Satyam VO : package ? me : 3.6 sir VO : GRE ? me : 1060 with 3 in AWA sir (he was looking at my low verbal score 270 carefully & discussing with other Indian guy bside him) VO : Other admits ? me : San Jose state Univ VO : San Oose ? me : yes sir Vo : how are you sponsoring ur education ? me : my father is sponsoring me sir Vo : what is he dng ? me : He is a state govt employee sir. Vo : package ? me : 9.5 L sir Vo : ok sir . i m approving ur visa. All the Best me : thank you sir ( expected few more questions, I was shocked) I was maintaining my confidence through out the VI as I thought this VO is cool ... Tips : 1. Look into VO eyes, stand straight be confident 2. VI is different from normal interviews, u get some time in b/w adjut yourself & keep the interview on track .. 3. VO needs to be convinced so believe in yourself & make him believe that u r good to b issued visa..[/color]
