Predator Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 Hi, I went for VISA Stamping on Dec 5th. I wanted to share my experience thinking that this would help people who are yet to appear. I went for Biometrics at the OFC site near Chirag Fort itself in Hyderabad on December 4th. Being there half an hour before would suffice. They asked for my Passport, DS160 confirmation laser printout, VISA appointment letter. They pinned it together and gave me a token number. Once we enter inside they will call us and take our 10 finger print and photo. They will put a stamp on DS160 confirmation letter saying that BIOMETRICS is done. Don't forget to collect the application for premium courier service form. (if you are approved, you need to submit this at a table while exiting US consulate) Next day i had interview at 10 AM. They let me in half an hour before only. There is security check before entering into main consulate. They let me sit at a place and checked the main docs mentioned above. Then they asked me to appear before counter 9. This is not the Interview counter. They just took my finger prints to check if this is me. The guy in counter 10 was screwing a girl with so many questions. He seems to be an indian. Then they gave me token and let me sit in the waiting area. I sat there waiting for my turn for 45 min. Then they called me. Me: Good morning Sir VO: Good morning Me: How are you doing today? VO: No Answer VO: Was looking at screen for 1 min without talking VO: So you studied at ---- University? Me: Yes sir VO: Are you a -- Tiger (Our soccer team mascot) Me: Yeah (Smiling) VO: Who is your Employer? Me: Answered VO: What is your annual income? Me: Answered VO: Who is your client? Me: Answered VO: Your VISA is approved Me: Thank you very much Sir, Have a nice day! Came out and submitted the premium courier service form and paid 300.
