H1B Amendment Without Client Letter

Hi Guys,

I need to go for visa stamping but before this i need to H1b Amendment as i changed the client after H1b got approved.Do you see any issues if i do H1 b Amendment without client letter.what about duration if it gets apporved..will it be same or it will change?
