Leader is produced by AVM and the actual budget of the movie was planned to be less than 10 crores with a remuneration of 2.5 crores to Shekar Kammula and One Crore to Rana. But the budget of the Film has shot up to 18 crores and with the market conditions and Shekar known to be a class director, the producers were not able to market the film for such high cost. AVM known for its business discipline asked Suresh babu to return back Rana's remuneration and release the film on Suresh Production banner through out the state. Suresh knows that the movie will not pay 18 crores and dint want to take any chance and tried some politics and avoided the release for three months. Though this is Suresh Son's debut movie, the business man in Suresh Babu dint let him take any loss even for the sake of his son. AVM people got bugged with this attitude of Suresh Babu and approached Tagore Madhu (Also Known as the Right hand of Allu Aravind) for the release of the movie. Madhu bought the Movie for the entire state and released the it.

suresh procutions relaese cheyalsi undi movie.. kani 3 months delay chesadu to get hype or wht ever.... so avm contacted allu arvind and sold the movie to him... so they distributed the movie all over ap...
