Performances:

Nani:Once again he proved his mettle as an actor, though he was overshadowed by samanth ,he impresses with his performance.He carried the lengthy climax on his shoulders.he was also successful in showing variations in the three stages of his character/film.


Samantha:She was just amazing,with her cute looks and believable performance,she excels in nitya's character.Samantha also portrayed the various changes in her character(school girl to 24 year old woman).Body language and expressions everything was perfect.


Others:Krishnudu was ususal.Raviprakash was fine though in short role.Ravi raghavendra was apt. Others all were okay.


Technical departments:


Story-Screenplay-Direction: Goutham menon once again came up with a love story.Story is all about a couple's love journey with regular breakupsand patch ups .film is based on more conversations between the lead pair.Gautam did not tried to include ani commercial elements and stick to the point.But screenplay was very slow paced and did not get that the right tempo or elevation in certain scenes. we don't feel the characters or their problems.1st half was adequate and school episode was good.before interval film drops and also lenghty interval terrace scene fails to impress.2nd half again follows the same pattern of 1st half i.e slow narration.Climax was also lenghthy but impresses due to nani's outstanding performance.OVerall, guatam menon was not successful as his last film .


Other departments:Dilaogues are natural .Songs by maestro Ilayaraja is good and BGM also was fine.Camera work was not good and for the first time in a gautam menon's film ,this department falters.Long shots in important scenes did not get the right feel and lighting was also not good in entire film.Editing was jerky throughout the film.

Analysis:Good performances,Music,Climax are plus points of the film and not upto the mark direction, lack of required depth/emotion are the minus points of the film.Overall Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu falls short of expectations.
