Foxconn Reportedly Manufacturing Amazon Smartphone

Rumors about an Amazon smartphone heated up this summer, and the latest whispers -- from [i]Taiwan Economic News[/i] -- say the e-retailer is turning to [url="http://www.engadget.com/tag/foxconn/"]Foxconn[/url] to construct its handset. Amazon is said to have put in a five-million-unit order with the Chinese company, which we've already seen [url="http://www.engadget.com/2012/07/05/bloomberg-amazon-android-smartphone/"]mentioned[/url] as the potential manufacturer for this device.
