bevarse Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 oka WCF service vundi daanini client consume chesukuntunnaru vallaki some times oka error vastundi. That error is logged in our database. but aa error message chustunte yemi ardam avvadam ledu. How can I find out what is erroring ? ERROR: System.ServiceModel.FaultException - The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs.

goodguy Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 Do you have any debug tools like Fiddler installed on your deployment machine.. If no, its a good idea to install one. Fiddler, for example, will log all services with Requests & Responses.. May be you can see the request object is not properly formed .. might be a data issue.. or from the Response returned you can get a more proper info of the error. 1
@Shadow@ Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 clients ki epudu error vachindhi?? ask steps to reproduce which helps in debugging... as of now naaku kuda clue ledhu with this info. but internal error should be in the code while calling/utilizing this service... make sure you turn on the additional exception logs mentioned in the error msg....in next deployment wait for more replys...
