Ullasamga Utsahamga Hero Yasho Sagar Dies In Road Accident

Actor Yasho Sagar, who debuted in films with the Telugu movie Ullasamga Utsahamga, died in a road accident near Sira in Tumukuru district in Karnataka. According to reports, the budding star was returning from Mumbai to Bangalore when the incident took place.

Yasho Sagar, who is the son of a Kannada producer, had become very popular in Tollywood with his film Ullasamga Utsahamga in 2008. He played a wayward guy, who falls in love with a girl (Sneha Ullal), who comes to Hyderabad to spend the summer vacation. Directed by Karunakaran, the movie went on to become a blockbuster. It was dubbed in Tamil as Ayyo Pavam and remade in Kannada as Ullasa Utsaha with Ganesh as hero.

Although he was a Bangalorian, Yasho Sagar's love for Telugu films is beyond imagination. Once in interview, he had said that except Telugu, he would never like to act in other languages like Kannada or Tamil. However, Yasho Sagar's sudden death has shocked many people in the industry, who still cannot believe the news.

Yasho Sagar was born and brought up in Bangalore. His father is from Karnataka, while his mother hailed from Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh.

Yasho Sagar's real name was Bharath, but it was changed to Yasho Sagar based on his horoscope and numerological suggestion.

Yasho Sagar's father is big Kannada film producer, who has produced about 20-to-25 films in Kannada. When he decided to start his acting career, his mother suggested him to debut in Telugu only.

Yasho Sagar had first met director Karunakaran at a function in Chennai. After a few months they decided to join hands for the movie Ullasamga Utsahamga, which became superhit at the Box Office.

Since he was a Kannadiga, Yasho Sagar had strong Kannada accent, but that did not deter him from dubbing his voice for his debut movie Ullasamga Utsahamga.

After the huge success of Ullasamga Utsahamga, Yasho Sagar had bagged another offer Mr Premikudu.

Though he was not a trained dancer, Yasho Sagar's dance performance in his debut film had brought him lot of accolades. He had learned dance steps from choreographer Kalyan on the sets of his Telugu film.

He was a big fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan and he had watched most of their films.

Another interesting fact about Yasho Sagar is that despite being Kannadiga, he hardly watched Kannada films. The only Kannada film that impressed him was Mungaru Male.

Yasho Sagar was a big fan of Soundarya, who was his favourite actress.

Yasho Sagar was a technology-savvy, who was interested in latest iPods, laptops, internet connections and mobile cameras.
