[*][size=3]Install ibm db2 software.[/size]
[*][size=3]6+ years of DB2 Database Administration experience out of which minimum 1+ should be on DB2 9.x versions.[/size]
[*][size=3]Experience on HADR and QREP technologies will be a plus.[/size]
[*][size=3]Must know AIX versions 5.x and 6.x and specifics of DB2 operations on AIX[/size]
[*][size=3]History of managing multiple RDBMS in large environments in AIX environments.[/size]
[*][size=3]Experience with redundancy and resiliency applied to create a high availability service.[/size]
[*][size=3]Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database.[/size]
[*][size=3]Experience in working in a 24X7 environments and on-call support.[/size]
[*][size=3]Assist in performing data migration from oracle platform to DB2 platform.[/size]
[*][size=3]Create practice and maintain standard installation and setup procedures for database servers.[/size]
[*][size=3]Maintain and facilitate standard backup procedures, retention plans, and restore testing.[/size]
[*][size=3]Assist with data migration between systems including regular data refreshes and making production data anonymous for use in testing environments[/size]
[*][size=3]Work pro-actively to gauge the performance of the application & database and provide recommendations to achieve the optimal architecture[/size]
[*][size=3]Assess impact on performance with different changes and review scalability of the infrastructure.[/size]
[*][size=3]Maintain standard procedural documentation related to all aspects of operating the database platforms.[/size]
[*][size=3]Assist in tuning SQL in stored procedures.[/size]
[*][size=3]Perform testing and production builds involving data changes and stored procedure building while following established change management procedures[/size]
[*][size=3]Assume all DBA duties in testing and development environments, maintaining design and data consistency throughout[/size]
